About Historic Pocahontas, Inc.

Historic Pocahontas, Inc. (H.P.I.) is a non-profit organization that works to preserve Pocahontas, VA’s history and historical landmarks. It was founded in 1971. HPI owns several historical buildings and sites in and around Pocahontas, VA (see a list of properties below).
While preserving historic buildings can be challenging, Historic Pocahontas, Inc. is committed to keeping our town’s history alive while honoring all the people who helped build our community.
