Many of you may already know that architectural students from Virginia Tech have visited our town recently. During their first trip, they gathered information about many of our historic buildings. On their second visit, they made a presentation to the town with suggestions on how the buildings could be used for our community.

The students will be returning for one final trip on May 2, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. to the Exhibition Mine Museum beside Ole #3. This meeting is open to the public, and we encourage everyone to attend. The students put in a lot of time and effort; a large crowd would help show our appreciation.
